​Items we always need:

BUY IN COZUMEL— support local business
  • ​cartulina blanco (a large size cardstock-like white paper we use for painting, like poster board)—any papeleria
  • papel de cascaron - a sturdy white cardboard, at Sam’s $300 pesos
  • Silicon (clear glue, 250ml bottles please) —at papelerías
  • palitos (popsicle sticks, tongue depressors, square sticks) — in bulk at San Miguel Papeleria 1kg/$75 Pesos,
  • white school glue -large containers only please—at papelerías
  • ​maizena -cornstarch, large boxes​​
  • masking tape, duct tape, clear packing tape​
  • refill bags of Axion dish soap
  • refill rolls of clear scotch tape —we have dispensers.
  • Kola-loka super glue
  • 500 ml bottles of Tempera paint (washable) at OfficeMax below Mega
  • toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue, dish soap and hand soap

​Recycle to make art ♻️♻️♻️
  • ​small sturdy cardboard boxes (smaller than a shoe box)
  • Beads, buttons, pieces of lace, old jewelry,
  • small wood items to transform​
  • small discarded items- broken keychains, baubles, small brightly colored plastic items.​​​
  • ​used and broken crayons
  • cloth and fabric

Donated items can be dropped off at
New Cycle Consignment store on Ave 65 between Calle 11 and Calle 7 10 am - 8pm, except Sunday.

If you really want to shop, we appreciate the things on the list below. Find them at Micheal's, Hobby Lobby, and Walmart. Micheal’s has a budget brand called Artist Loft Fundamentals; many sets are $5. Both Hobby Lobby and Micheal's have an online 40% off one item coupon.

Things that are EASY to get on the island —large acrylic paint in jars, bristle brushes, canvases, canvas boards, color pencils, watercolor sets, various glues....

Please d🚫n't send:
  • Art kits that frequently require special parts, pieces, or equipment that are hard to find in Mexico.
  • “Gently used” things are appreciated, but old, worn out materials, that are on their last legs, send a negative message to our kids.​​
  • ​🚫stick glue — we have enough for 20 years!
